The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester's 2015 Day for Kids is a fun, interactive event designed to be enjoyed by everyone. Entertainment, games, special exhibits, displays and tasty treats will highlight the day. Some of the planned activities and displays include:

The Safe Sports Obstacle Course!
Sponsored by Safe Sports Network
Kids will have the opportunity to run a mini obstacle course. Kids will learn about proper warm up, hydration, nutrition, stretching and the importance of being active. Athletic trainers will be on hand to provide parents information on concussions and injury prevention. Giveaways are provided to all the kids who complete the obstacle course.

Manchester Karate Studio's Live Demonstrations!

Here's an opportunity for kids to try out a few Martial Arts moves. A special demonstration area hosts the professional instructors from Manchester Karate Studio who will show your child the fun they can have while training! This group uses Martial Arts to teach the principles of respect, self-discipline and perseverance.

Oakhurst's Kids Go Green!

At the Oakhurst's "Kids Go Green" area, children learn about the environment and what they can do to be "green." Featured are special educational displays for some of New Hampshire's nature lovers including SEE Science Center, Amoskeag Fishways Learning & Visitors Center and Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center.

Animal lovers of all ages will thrill and delight at a special exhibit from Wildlife Encounters! This year's interactive and educational display will feature a number of live native and non-native wildlife that each, for their own reasons, are unable to survive in the wild. From amazing mammals to outrageous reptiles, beautiful birds and more...kids will connect with nature and have tremendous fun learning about animals from around the world. 

The Indoor Train Ride!
It's all aboard at the Day for Kids Roaming Railroad train ride. Not just a kid's ride, this train was custom built to accommodate adults, making it a true family attraction. This train ride will take you on a trip all around the Day for Kids Festival. Cost is $1 per person.

Kids Beauty Salon!
Girls can get a free fancy "up do" at the Day for Kids "Beauty Salon." From French braids to pretty curls, students from Michael's School of Hair Design are setting-up shop just for kids!

Giant Coloring Wall!
Love to color? Join the creative fun at the Day for Kids Giant Coloring Wall. This monster size coloring mural awaits the artistic touch of kids with colored markers.

Sidewalk Chalk Coloring Area!

Kids love to color and at Day for Kids they are invited to color on the floor! A giant indoor sidewalk chalk coloring area will bring out the artist in kids of all ages. 

Kids Food Court!
Take a break from all the activities and enjoy a tasty treat at the kid-friendly food court. All your favorites including healthy food choices for growing kids.

Petting Zoo!
McDonny's Traveling Farm is bringing a wonderful gathering of kid-friendly farmyard animals to the event! It's designed for a lot of interacting between children and farm animals. Make special memories like seeing a child holding a baby chick, or cuddling a cute baby bunny, or a child's delight at a friendly face-to-face greeting from a baby goat.

AutoFair's "Big Wheels" Race Track!

Kids can rev-up their engines at the "Big Wheels" Race Track. Take a spin around the track and see if you can bring home the checkered flag.

The Indoor Archery Range!
Here's your opportunity to try target archery! This kids-safe archery range is supervised by the New England School of Archery & Supplies, LLC.

Special Exhibits just for Kids!
Over 20 youth organizations will be on hand to provide information about how kids and adults can use their services. Other kid-friendly businesses from around the state will be exhibiting, offering information, free samples, items to purchase and more.

A whole lot of fun and priceless memories!
With over 100 different activities, exhibits, special displays and fun things to see and do, this is a great way for parents and kids to enjoy a day together and create special memories!
